It is our great pleasure to invite you to the Joint Geo Delft Conference 2018, the Netherlands.

The joint Geo Delft 2018 Conference will bring together communities from 4 related international organisations: ISPRS, FIG, UDMS and 3D GeoInfo.

This will attract researchers from academia, industry and government active
in all geo-information fields: data collection, advanced modelling, data management, data analysis, dissemination, visualisation for a wide range of application domains. Specific attention will be paid to the 3D aspects, smart cities and cadastres.
It will be our great pleasure if you join us as a speaker, participant or sponsor.

Submission requirements, deadlines and important information related to the conference are available on our website (www.tudelft.nl/geodelft2018).

On behalf of the Geo Delft 2018  Conference Organising Committee.

GEO DELFT CONFERENCE 2018

ISPRS Technical Commission IV Symposium (1-5 October 2018)
The ISPRS Technical Commission IV symposium aims to promote and advance 3D aspects of modelling, visualisation and simulation, to examine and evaluate the state of the art in all aspects of 3D modelling, analysis and visualisation and to bring together research and developments conducted in the 10 working groups.

  13th 3D GeoInfo Conference (1-2 October 2018)
The 3D GeoInfo Conference aims at bringing together international researchers from academia, industry and government in the field of 3D geoinformation. The conference offers an interdisciplinary forum to researchers in the fields of data collection, advanced modelling approaches, data analysis and visualisation.

6th International FIG Workshop on 3D Cadastres (2-4 October 2018)
The increasing complexity of infrastructures and densely built-up areas requires a proper registration of the legal status (private and public), which can only be provided to a limited extent by the existing 2D cadastral registrations. The registration of the legal status in complex 3D situations will be investigated under the header of 3D Cadastres.

3rd International Conference on Smart Data and Smart Cities (4-5 October 2018)
A smart city can be defined as a city overlaid by a digital layer, which is used not only for storing city information but overall for its governance. The 3rd International Conference on Smart Data and Smart Cities will present novel research concerning the use of information and communication technologies in Smart Cities, and will also provide a forum for senior researchers to establish collaborations on new research projects in this domain. A smart city cannot be defined without a better involvement of citizens (smart people).

KEY DATES

 ISPRS Technical Commission IV Symposium
 13th 3D GeoInfo Conference
3rd International Conference on Smart Data and Smart Cities
  • Full paper submission * - 31 March
  • Abstract submission ** - 30 April
  • Notification of authors - 15 May
  • Final full paper - 15 June
  • Conference 1 - 2 October

Accepted papers will be published in the ISPRS Annals or the ISPRS Archives (SCOPUS indexed). Authors of selected papers might be invited to extend their paper for possible publication in ISPRS Journals. Prospective authors are encouraged to consider the following possibilities for submission:

* Papers for ISPRS Annals (Double-blind peer reviewed): Submitted papers should report new or improved techniques, algorithms, bench marks, technology developments, frameworks, and best practices, which are not published elsewhere. Authors are encouraged to submit full papers (max 8 pages) in ISPRS format. Papers will be evaluated on their originality, novelty, and impact. Papers not accepted for ISPRS Annals might be considered for the ISPRS Archives.
** Papers for ISPRS Archives (Abstract review): Submitted extended abstracts will be published in the ISPRS Archives. Such papers can be professional/demo papers demonstrating innovative systems and practical approaches, or research in progress. Professional/Demo papers are limited to 8 pages in ISPRS format.

6th International FIG Workshop on 3D Cadastres
  • Extended abstract - 1 May
  • Reviewing - 1 June
  • Final version full paper - 15 August
  • Workshop - 2 - 4 October
Extended abstracts should be submitted via https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=3dcad2018 (EasyChair) no later than May 1st 2018. Authors of accepted submissions are requested to submit the full paper by August 15th 2018.
