Ensuring Housing Stability for the
Most Vulnerable

In these uncertain times, Good Samaritan Ministries' priority is to ensure HOUSING STABILITY for our neighbors. With even the slightest loss of income or increase in expenses, much of our population is at risk of losing their housing. We can’t let that happen.

So, we are fully operational and continue to serve those facing housing barriers in Ottawa County. While our Case Managers are scaling back on face to face meetings with clients, and Circles community gatherings are on pause, our staff is still available to support clients, and WE ARE HERE, working hard to respond to incoming requests for assistance.

In the coming weeks and months, we anticipate a SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN DEMAND for our housing services as hourly wage earners face potential changes to their income. We are preparing as best we can for this challenge, and are grateful for the collective response that has already taken place in
our county.

We are in this together, so thank you for all the ways you are contributing to the effort to contain COVID-19 while also meeting the needs of the most vulnerable.

Our mission is to end poverty and homelessness. We do this by mobilizing faith-based and community partners, activating individual and community assets, and meeting immediate needs in our community.
