CHARLOTTE – October 8, 2019 – The Committee on Arrangements (COA) for the 2020 Republican National Convention will host a media walkthrough at the Spectrum Center and the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, NC. Members of the media are invited to attend an informational briefing, a tour of the convention complex and an evening reception.
The walkthrough will address a range of topics, including the media accreditation process, administrative and logistics needs, workspace requests and housing requirements. The walkthrough will also give media representatives the opportunity to tour the full convention complex, including the Spectrum Center and media workspace planned for the neighboring Charlotte Convention Center.
2020 RNC Convention Fall Media Walkthrough
WHEN: Tuesday, November 12, 2019
A full itinerary of the day's events will be sent in advance to registered attendees. However, for planning purposes, registration will begin at 12:30 EST on November 12, with the briefing scheduled to begin at 2:00 EST. The 2020 Host Committee will host an evening reception for participants immediately following the walkthrough at the Charlotte Convention Center.
WHO: This event is intended for those responsible for media production and operations.

ABOUT THE 2020 REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION
The 2020 Republican National Convention will be held at the Spectrum Center from August 24-27, 2020. Nearly 50,000 visitors are expected to arrive in Charlotte for the event, including delegates, alternate delegates, members of the media and other guests.
