Beloved Friends & Family,

Greetings from the deep quiet of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains where we, like you, nestle into our homes in an effort to keep the most vulnerable among us safe from harm.

This is a new landscape, a liminal space, where we rest in unknowing.  This, of course, is what the mystics of all spiritual traditions have always taught us, through silence and stillness, through poetry and song.  This is the domain of the dark feminine: vibrant mystery.  The feminine heart invites us to take the whole world into our arms and not turn away from the pain.

I was invited by The Shift Network to offer this virtual gathering months before the coronavirus pandemic, yet it now feels to me like a sip of soul medicine for these troubled times.  In this hour together, we will take refuge with some of my favorite mystics and goddesses: my beloved Tía, Santa Teresa de Avila; the mighty rabbi, Mary Magdalene; and the Divine Mother, Durga.  We have the opportunity to offer a particular stone we carry in our hearts and lay it down at their loving feet.  We may emerge with more spaciousness of mind and lightness of being, a larger capacity to show up in the mystery and make of ourselves a blessing on this good earth.

You can register here for Receive the Sacred Blessings of St. Teresa of Avila, Mary Magdalene & the Goddess Durga:

During this powerful free hour, you’ll:

  • Discover that you’re never alone — the women mystics and Goddesses are powerful allies you can access to help you face life’s challenges

  • Discern if your spiritual views are actually obstacles to your transformation and becoming a mystic yourself

  • Discover spiritual life as a well-rounded expression of all parts of yourself — including the reclaiming of your sensuality

  • Experience a guided meditation to connect with the contemplative, yet fiery, mystic St.Teresa of Avila to release a current burden from your life

  • Participate in a healing chant inspired by the Goddess Durga to evoke her invincible power over evil

The feminine doesn’t ask us to fix our brokenness, it calls us to embrace it….

And there are no better mentors in this approach than the women mystics and goddesses. When we open to their guidance, we are never again alone in our life struggles.

You can RSVP for free here:

P.S. During Receive the Sacred Blessings of St. Teresa of Avila, Mary Magdalene & the Goddess Durga, I will show you how the women mystics and goddesses can help you reclaim the sacredness of your body, mind, and spirit — and the interconnectedness that sustains us all.
