Chucalissa Anoachi

December 2015

Volume 9, Number 9

Thanks to Our Volunteers for a Great 2015

During this holiday season, the staff of C.H. Nash Museum at Chucalissa sends a heartfelt THANK YOU to the many volunteers who made our programs and special events possible this year. Our volunteers included AmeriCorps teams, scout troops, Freedom Prep students, University of Memphis faculty and students, artisans, archaeologists, and people who wanted to get a behind-the-scenes view of the museum.

Throughout 2015 dedicated volunteers sorted artifacts, demonstrated crafts for special events, cleared the nature trail, built exhibits, maintained gardens, assisted with school groups, and much more.  We wish all of our volunteers a safe and happy holiday season.  See you in the New Year!

Your help is needed for these tasks:

  • Exhibit upgrades in the Hands-On Discovery Lab and Replica Mississippian Hut
  • Garden and trail maintenance
  • Artifact sorting
  • Assisting with school groups
