November 27, 2019 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8
A Message from Mr. Frye
The word gratitude is derived from the Latin word gratia, which means grace, graciousness, or gratefulness (depending on the context).
What a blessing to have a holiday which encourages gratitude in each of us; the invitation to look for the many blessings in our lives and be thankful for them.
On behalf of our staff, please know we are thankful for your presence in our school community and are truly grateful for the joy your children bring into our hallways and classrooms each day.
May you all have a safe, peaceful and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
School will be closed on November 28th, 29th, and December 2nd for Thanksgiving Break. Classes will resume next Tuesday.
Holiday Extravaganza -
December 3rd , 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
As part of our community's preparation for Advent, join us for an evening with your family to help decorate the trees in the school. The trees are adorned with the ornaments that each of our families, past and present, have contributed over the years. Cookie donations are welcome.
New families:If you have not added an ornament to our school’s collection, we welcome you to do so. It can be something handmade by your child; an ornament that represents your family, your ethnicity or your traditions in some way; an ornament with a picture of your family; or whatever inspires your children! Please make sure that your family’s name is indicated on the back, as it will hang on our trees for years to come!

November's Virtue: STEWARDSHIP: Returning to God the first fruits of your time, talent, and treasure.
Want to practice stewardship this week? Is there a class, task or activity that is hard for you? Consecrate that time to God. Ask God in prayer to help you put forth your best effort out of love for Him since it is His will that you do the activity in the time He gave you.
Bible Verse: As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace. 1 Peter 4:10
