A Message from Acting Dean
Brenda McCabe

As we are deep in the midst of a cold and icy winter, it is a perfect time to look forward—both to the renewal of spring and to the future studies of our student body. This month’s Engineering Newsletter focuses on Graduate Studies.
As Canada’s top engineering school, our Faculty continues to attract bright and talented students into our research and professional degree programs. Our students know that a graduate engineering degree at U of T not only enhances their competencies and career potential, but also provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the world’s best researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs.
In this newsletter, we explore some of our newest graduate recruitment activities and the continued expansion of our multidisciplinary learning with new areas of emphasis in sustainable energy and advanced manufacturing. I anticipate strong student interest in these exciting areas, as well as in our other outstanding graduate programs. I encourage you to check them out.

– Brenda
