ORSP Update and eRPM System Updates

ORSP will close today, Friday, August 21, at 12:00 noon for our staff summer picnic. In case of emergency, calls to our main number (764-5500) will be forwarded to a private cell phone, but we encourage you to contact us in advance of that with any questions, in order to allow staff to enjoy this celebration. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Additionally, two updates are coming to the University of Michigan eResearch Proposal Management System (eRPM) on Sunday, August 23, 2015.
Copy PAF info to Grants.gov to include SF424 Forms
The Copy PAF info to Grants-gov activity will be updated to provide the latest functionality offered by our vendor, Click Commerce.
When executing this activity, a list of the required and optional forms will display and you may select which forms you want to copy information into.
This activity will now be required to populate the standard U-M and PAF information into the Grants.gov forms.

Outgoing Data Use Agreement review may now include
Honest Broker Office
A new question will be added to outgoing Data Use Agreement form in the Unfunded Agreement (UFA) section of eResearch. The new question will ask:
Will clinical health data (e.g., information collected as part of clinical care) be shared outside of University of Michigan?
Based on your answer, the Office of Research and Sponsored Project (ORSP) will determine if a review by the U-M Honest Broker Office is needed. The Honest Broker Office (HBO) facilitates access to patient health data for U-M research purposes.
