The Uniform Guidance Audit (formerly known as A-133) is complete
Good morning. The University of Michigan's 2016 Single Audit is complete! This is the report previously completed pursuant to former circular A-133, and now generated in compliance with A-133's replacement: the Uniform Guidance, Subpart F. The purpose of this audit is to provide assurance to the U.S. federal government as to the management and use of funds by universities (as well as other recipients of federal funds).
We filed this report with the Federal Audit Clearinghouse -- the public database maintained for completed audits. You can search for our single audit on that website, using our 10-digit EIN number found on the home page of the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects website in the Frequently Required Proposal Data section. Be sure to use the 10-digit version and search with no spaces and no dashes: 386006309.
