We at the University of Michigan (U-M) Office of Contract Administration (OCA) are working to better align with Federal requirements. For any projects funded under a Federal contract that has subcontract work performed, we need to report the detail of that subcontract work, along with start and end dates and the estimated award for that period. Additionally, this subcontract information needs to be available to the public on USAspending.gov.
To help U-M meet these requirements, and to make this easy for research project teams to provide, we have worked with Information Technology Services (ITS) to create a small update in the Subcontracts (SUBKs) section of eResearch.
Starting Monday, 8/25/14, later in the day, we'll be asking you for this information (subcontract goals, dates and estimated award) in your SUBK process, so be sure to have it handy when completing any new or amended SUBK forms. Thank you!
