The Rev. Laura C. Truby, Rector
The Rev. Kathleen Borsch, Deacon
Dr. James Denman, Director of Music
Jesus said to the disciples, "I still have many things to say to you,but you cannot bear them now.
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own,
but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
He will glorify me, because he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
All that the Father has is mine. John 6:12-14
Almighty and everlasting God, who hast given unto us thy servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of thy Divine Majesty to worship the Unity:
We beseech thee that thou wouldest keep us steadfast in this faith and worship,
and bring us at last to see thee in thy one and eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son
and the Holy Spirit livest and reignest, one God, for ever and ever.

Come Celebrate 4th Sundays!!
And maybe join the band?

All Saints’ is blessed with talented, committed volunteers who gather to make music every Sunday and at mid-week or Sunday rehearsals.
On the fourth Sunday of every month—Youth Sunday—parents and children sing together at the 10:15 service in the Family Choir, under the leadership of Belinda Nissen, with accompanist Jerry Meter.
As a bonus, the service includes accompaniment and musical offerings by the Fourth Sunday Ensemble, volunteer instrumentalists who play woodwinds, brass, strings, and guitar. Come enjoy and sing with us and raise a joyful shout in harmony with the Family Choir and Instrumental Ensemble!!
Do you or members of your family sing? Why not add your voices? For more information about Family Choir, please contact Belinda Nissen through the parish office.
Do you play an instrument? Would you like to share your talent with other volunteers to enrich our worship at these special services? Please contact Jim Denman through the parish office, or at the parish music address:
Thanks for reading—we hope to hear from you!

All-Church Reception for Chancel Choir,
Family Choir and Fourth Sunday Ensemble

Join us as we thank and honor our faithful volunteer musicians!
It is my privilege, week after week, to work with the many enthusiastic parishioners who regularly donate their time, sharing their talents to grace the worship life of All Saints’.

We have reached Trinity Sunday, the traditional end-of-season for our ensembles, who now go on summer hiatus until early September.
Please come celebrate with us at a reception for members of each of our ensembles, and offer your own thanks for their gifts of song and sound. We are all blessed by their contribution.
They will be missed!

The 30-Hour Famine
Our big project for the rest of the school year is the 30-Hour Famine. Throughout the coming months, the youth of our congregations will be raising money on behalf of World Vision to help combat child poverty and malnutrition in the developing world. As a sign of our commitment to seek and serve Christ in all person, the youth and I will go without food for 30 hours, beginning our fast at noon on Friday the 27th of May, and ending it with Holy Eucharist at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. If you would like to add your contribution, please make your check out to All Saints Episcopal Church and write "30-Hour Famine" in the check notation.

They are looking for a faith community where they will be welcomed and affirmed as beloved children of God. Charlene McCreight is our Diocesan workshop leader for Believe Out Loud congregations and will be visiting us on Sunday, June 12th following each service.

HOT MEALS is looking for two or three people to be a part of the Steering Committee. This is an administrative position only!  It would help if you have a computer.  We have fallen behind in some of the administrative part of the program, mainly keeping in contact with the teams on training, food cards, etc. Also, we do need a dishwasher for 3rd Saturday's. This is for the "dirty" side.  A second person for the "clean" side would be great.  Training is available. Call Nancy Patrick at 971-271-1339 or contact church office and leave a message.
Note from Johnny Townes
"While I was attending services at All Saints, the pew I was sitting in was near the Third Station of the Cross - "Jesus Falls the First Time". I often looked at that station; and I have written a meditation on it. I miss all of you at All Saints very much! Peace be with you!"

Love, your friend,
Because you fell, we can stand tall, while on our knees,
And receive all the blessings you have in store for us--
We can be healed of all our heartaches, and
Our scars can be turned into stars.

We meet for two more Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
Come and learn one of the most versatile,
basic techniques of basket-making
and make a small twined basket.

Prayer for the Earth
I have come to terms with the future.
From this day onward I will walk easy on the earth.
Plant trees. Kill no living things.
Live in harmony with all creatures.
I will restore the earth where I am.
Use no more of its resources than I need.
And listen, listen to what it is telling me.
