Saving time and space, this revolutionary instrument combines a retinal camera with the powerful scanning laser (also known as OCT – optical coherence tomography) that can facilitate evaluation, and help to monitor and follow-up optic nerve and macular pathologies.
Uptown EyeCare is excited to have this invaluable tool not only for clinical diagnosis, but also for patient education, doctor-to-doctor communication and co-management. No more referrals to other clinics for retinal or optic nerve imaging, we brought the technology in-house and can now image, observe and manage most ocular diseases with this amazing instrument. The OCT test takes only about 10 minutes and it is completely pain-free.
