COACHES CHALLENGE

We are off to a slow start, but I am sure the October report will be better. Please report coaches challenge recruits by Oct 10 here.
If you haven't already, encourage your local coach to sign up here. Engage your local high school or college team. Here's just one story of partnering with a local program from Kelsey Tyrell at Community! Youth Concepts in Des Moines:
Our mentoring program partnered with Lincoln High School to hold "Mentoring Night" on Friday September 12th. We honored three of our outstanding mentors who have matches at Lincoln right before the varsity game and distributed information about how families can get involved. Coach Andy Campbell was very supportive of this event and will be encouraging Lincoln community members to support mentoring youth across Des Moines. Their mentees even got the chance to present their awards to their mentors and enjoyed watching a free game between the Roughriders and the Railsplitters!
