As you prepare for your presentation, please know that COABE appreciates you and wants to support you. One of the supports available to you is through a partnership with IBM to provide nationally recognized training, Present With Purpose. Present With Purpose has recently been revised to improve navigation, integrate suggestions, and to reflect COABE membership. I am excited to share with you this relaunch of Present With Purpose as the revisions went live this week!
Your COABE Board recommends all presenters participate in this training. First time COABE presenters are required to complete the online training by December 31st. Those who have already completed this training are still valid. The modules in this training provide instruction in good practices for presenters, people leading meetings, and for local program administrators. The certificate associated with Present With Purpose can be shared on one's resume, transcript, and LinkedIn profile. To register for this training, click here. Additional presenting support will be coming from me as your presenter coach. Look for announcements for upcoming training on specific topics such as engaging with virtual attendees, presenting virtually and in-person simultaneously (hybrid), checking your lighting and sound options, and Zoom tools available within the COABE app.
