Technology 4 Life Fall Classes

As November begins, we are all drawn indoors by the cool weather. That makes November the perfect time to learn how to use your iPad, iPhone or computer so you can stay connected without having to brave the cold.  Let Technology 4 Life help you!

We offer a variety of classes to help you learn how to use your iPad, iPhone, smart phone, digital camera, or computer. We have workshops to help you find travel deals online and make personalized holiday cards.  We have a few exciting classes coming up in the next few weeks including:

1) CLASS: How to Use Your Smart Phone or Tablet (Android users)
Tuesday, Nov. 11, 10am-12noon at Whistlestop.
Have a smart phone or tablet that isn't made by Apple? Then this is the class where we show you what your device can do.  Come learn email, pictures, internet and much more! Call Whistlestop at 456-9062 to enroll!

2) WORKSHOP: Online Deals & Steals: Holiday Shopping Apps & Sites

Don’t spend hours running from store to store for your holiday shopping. Let us show you how to compare prices, find the best deals, and locate that special gift without ever leaving your home. We will show you several shopping apps that will save you time and money this holiday season. Bring your smart phone or tablet to class. (Works for Apple devices and/orAndroid/Samsung devices. 3) WORKSHOP: Holiday Gadget Guide
Wednesday, Dec. 10, 10am - 12noon, The Ranch at Dairy Knoll, Belvedere-Tiburon Recreation
What makes a Smart Phone smart? What can you do with an iPad? Tablet or Computer – what’s the difference? What is a Kindle Fire? Come see, touch and  play with gadgets like these and see for yourself what all the buzz is about. We will show you how to research and compare different brands of technology devices so you can make an informed choice when you are ready to buy. Call Belvedere-Tiburon Recreation at 435-4355 to register.

We offer one on one in-home tutoring, and we can set up a private in-home class for you and your friends. Multi-session tutoring packages also available. Call us at (415) 302-4070 to schedule an appointment!

Getting Wired

There was quite a crowd at this year's Marin Senior Information Fair. We enjoyed meeting everyone who stopped by our booth. We came in costume -- can you guess our theme? We're Giant Nerds!

At Technology4Life, we make technology simple and accessible for adults. The 40+ generation are digital immigrants -- new to this land of rapidly changing technology. For many, using a computer, iPad, or social media website can be very scary and intimidating. We want to turn tech fear into tech savvy. Our approach is simple, hands-on, and our experienced teachers walk students through each of our classes step by step so that every students leaves more confident and capable.
