The Triangle Cytoskeleton Meeting

September 21st @ The Haw River Ballroom, Saxapahaw, NC

Registrations for the 2015 Triangle Cytoskeleton Meeting (TCM) have been extended until August 24th! We encourage you to invite colleagues and undergraduate students to attend the TCM on September 21st.

The one-day event will host talks and poster presentations divided among three sessions: Mechanics and Structure of Cytoskeletal Complexes, Quantitative and Modelling Approaches in Studying the Cytoskeleton, and the Cytoskeleton in Development and Disease. These sessions, as well as lunch and a happy hour will provide opportunities to interact with fellow researchers throughout the day.
The meeting will feature a keynote presentation by Dr. Dyche Mullins from UCSF’s School of Medicine and the HHMI. Dr. Mullins is interested in cell migration, the prokaryotic cytoskeleton and nuclear actin.

Each session will also feature a talk from an invited Triangle area faculty member. This years invited faculty speakers are Dr. Sharon Campbell and Dr. Kerry Bloom from UNC-Chapel Hill as well as Dr. Scott Soderling from Duke University.
Also, we will be awarding a $400 travel grant to a student or post-doc presenting at the TCM to attend the ASCB's 2015 annual meeting in San Diego. You can find more information about this ASCB-sponsored grant in the registration form.
We also strongly encourage you to become an ASCB member. The ASCB offers several professional development, granting and outreach opportunities that you will gain access to as a member. Please use the promo code
