We are very excited to introduce our first major fundraising campaign!  As always, our fundraising has a direct purpose.  The funds raised will go towards implementing an iCan Bike program in conjunction with other local organizations and towards family and community grants aiming at making local programs more inclusive and available to people with disabilities.

What is Dollars and Dimes For Downs?
This is a simple program where we ask people in our community to donate their spare change (we'll accept more than just dollars and dimes, of course) to help us further our mission.

Who can participate?

  • An individual can ask your friends, families, and community to donate their spare change.

  • A business can put out a jar with flyers (we can provide both) to collect spare change from your customers.

  • A company, school, or group can run a contest to see what department, class, or individual can collect the most money.

Please contact for more information and promotional materials.

iCan Bike Camp
We are very excited to share the information that the iCan Bike program will be coming to Lancaster (Spooky Nook)!  The program has 25 openings and costs $250.   LDSA is looking to provide sponsor to help cover this cost, so if you know of anyone that would be interested in sponsoring this amazing program, please contact  The program is also in need of volunteers.  The commitment is the same 90 minute shift every day for the 5 days of the program (August 15-19).  Click here for the flyer and here for the volunteer form.
