Many of you have partnered with us--in prayer, with finances, or as a team member--in our efforts to reach the lost people of the Lakota-Sioux tribe on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. It's hard to believe that ten years ago God opened the door, commissioning us to evangelize this lost people group. Our hearts have always been stirred and continue to be called to evangelize and revitalize the American community and local Church.
While Manderson, Wounded Knee, Porcupine, and Evergreen are indeed American communities in South Dakota, they are much like third-world, war-torn cities you'd expect to see on the other side of the world. Our efforts to reach the citizens of this tribe have been difficult, exciting, frustrating, and joyous! Much prayer has been involved in determining what is the most effective means to reach and keep new disciples for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Would you please take a few moments and watch the video we recently released that lays out what we refer to as 'Plan B' for this endeavor? I pray God will stir your heart to continue in support of this urgent effort. Continued prayer, continued financial support, and an effort to share this news is warranted to move forward.
