Jay's Fund - Supporting Storytellers of the Future

Each year £5 from every ticket sold at the Social Media Exchange is contributed to the Jay Mukoro Bursary Fund. Jay’s Fund supports a student experiencing financial hardship to take a one-year journalism course at Goldsmiths. As Jay’s friend, Jude Habib, sounddelivery Director, wanted to donate a portion of SMEX ticket sales to his fund to continue to champion his commitment to storytelling.

"This is a remarkable and wonderful contribution to a scholarship scheme that has made so much difference to two lives so far and advanced the cause of plurality, representation, equality, participation- giving the opportunity to two brilliant and talented people who would never had had this chance in a complicated and some would say increasingly unfair world."                                                                                                  Tim Crook, Goldsmiths University
