Still Time To Submit A Topic To Speak At #MANA15
The MANA 2015 conference is in Albuquerque this fall! The deadline to submit abstracts to speak is in two days - January 30th. MANA is especially seeking submissions on clinical skills, student-centered topics, advocacy, building a successful practice, and diversity/social justice. Midwives Alliance Town Hall: Re-Imagining the Future of Clinical Midwifery Training
Please join us as we launch MANA's new virtual Town Hall Series. We are eager to hear your voices, wisdom and vision as we look to the future of Midwives Alliance and midwifery. We are hosting a series of facilitated, interactive and webinar-based town hall meetings every other month in 2015. Future topics include proposed bylaws amendments, the needs of the midwifery student, and creating valuable services for Midwives Alliance members. We hope to see you there!
Please save the date and join us for our first Town Hall on Wednesday February 11th from 7-8pm EST for a lively and collective discussion facilitated by Amy Smith, MANA Director of Professional Development and Treesa McLean, MANA Director of Public Affairs. We need your input and creativity to create a virtual vision board for the bright and thriving future for clinical midwifery training. Please bring your ideas, experience and sense of adventure as we combine our thoughts to re-imagine clinical midwifery training! Midwives, students, educators, and advocates . . . all are welcome!
