National Apprenticeship week

National Apprenticeship week is taking place from 6-10 March 2017.

The 10th National Apprenticeship Week will bring together employers and apprentices from across England to celebrate the success of apprenticeships over the last decade and will seek to encourage even more people to choose apprenticeships as a fast-track to a great career.

You can find out about local apprenticeship events that are taking place near you by searching the government’s official online map.

If you are running an event for National Apprenticeship Week, you can submit information using the  online form to be included in the online events map and let everyone else know what you are doing.

Make sure you let GUAC know if you’re planning any events locally, and we’ll help to share your news. Email

GUAC on tour – member visits continue

Give us a Chance has been visiting members across the country, as we continue to meet your teams and hear more about the great work that you do.

In the past few weeks we’ve met with Yarlington and Radian, and seen first-hand how they are both developing inspiring and innovative approaches to employment support – for their residents and the wider community.

Our visits are part of a wider programme to help support and improve the PR and publicity your employment and support work receives, using the GUAC platforms.

Over the coming week’s we have more visits set up across Oldham, Birmingham and London, and we’re looking forward meeting more of your teams and hearing about the great work that you do.
