Our Caring Committee
Greetings from your Temple Sinai Caring Committee,
Our volunteer Committee serves the Sinai congregation in several ways: sending condolence and get-well cards on behalf of the Temple; visiting sick people in the hospital and at home; making Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary calls; providing periodic Shabbat services to senior living home residents; making chicken and vegetarian soup and delivering it to members; and more. If you would benefit from Committee assistance, please let one of our Rabbis or Committee members or me know, and we will try to help.
If you would like to join the Caring Committee, just let me know. And, if you would just like to help out with our activities -- like visiting people in the hospital or at home, you can do that without joining the Committee. Just provide us your email address and you will receive all Committee emails requesting assistance. Then it will be up to you to become involved or not.
Finally, if you would like to visit congregants at home or in the hospital but are not yet comfortable doing so, please contact me and we can provide some support and know-how.
Regards from your Caring Committee,
Harvey Katz, Committee Chairman
