The industry's annual flagship event SSIA Summit and Semiconductor Dinner 2019 will be held on 10 October 2019. There will be a whole day of insightful discussions on how those at the forefront of the semiconductor industry are preparing to support the mobility market. The day will end with a networking dinner connecting all industry leaders in Singapore and the region.
17 participants comprised mostly of engineers from the industry joined the course on 4th to 5th July 2019. The two-day course has helped them understand how business leaders were bringing operational excellence success to the next level, and how they can do the same for their organizations. The class has received overwhelming response and do stay tuned to our next course.
SSIA and SIAA joinly organised a Joint Members' Visit to Model Factory@ARTC on 26 June 2019. A model of a factory of the future, the Model Factory @ ARTC is part of A*STAR’s Model Factories Initiative to support the industry in its digital transformation journey. The Model Factory @ ARTC focuses on disruptive technologies, primarily Industry 4.0 technologies, that can transform factories and industrial operations to be more efficient and competitive. SSLA 4th Run Completed
The Singapore Semiconductor Leadership Accelerator (SSLA) is a program that delivers immense value in terms of thought leadership, interactive workshops as well as cross company teamwork events, providing a superb resource for networking of future industry leaders. The 4th Run was successfully completed in May and graduates have got valuable insights from the course.
SSIA hosted the HR Roundtable on 30 May 2019 bringing together over 20 HR leaders from 17 companies. Workforce Singapore - WSG and JTC were invited to share their initiatives to help the industry’s workforce development. Was great networking with everyone!
