#justsayno...
...to the use of Barbary macaques as photo props!
If you're a fan of our Facebook page, or follow us on Twitter, you'll no doubt have seen our recent social media campaign, #justsayno. We asked our social media followers to send us photos of themselves holding placards which explain why they, personally, will never pose with Barbary macaque photo props while on holiday in Morocco. The campaign, which has 50 participants to date and is still going strong, was accompanied by this article on our website, which details the cruelty suffered by the Barbary macaques kept as photo props in Morocco.
Huge thanks to all the individuals and groups who have so far taken part in our campaign - we love your creative, heartfelt messages, and you are really making a difference to Barbary macaque conservation. If you like the campaign but are yet to join in, please do send us your photo at bmacaque@gmail.com, or via the direct message function on our Facebook page.
