Dust off your tap shoes and join an unlikely group of adult dancers for the award-winning acclaimed comedy by Richard Harris – Stepping Out. Mavis, a former professional dancer, teaches a troupe of bumbling adult tappers, but before the dancing starts, she must mediate the drama that erupts between this motley but loveable crew. A couple of tantrums and time steps later, it’s love and friendship that unites them all !
This tap-tastic new production is led by Hayley Tamaddon (Coronation Street, Emmerdale), as Mavis, with Rita Simons (Eastenders, I’m A Celebrity), as Maxine, Harriet Thorpe (The Brittas Empire, Absolutely Fabulous!) as Dorothy, and Wendi Peters (Coronation Street, Hetty Feather) as Vera.
