Holiday Shopping for Haiti Micah Project

Join HMP board members Karen Wires and Bill Taczak on Sunday, December 7th at the Ten Thousand Villages stores in Alexandria and Fredericksburg. When you shop at either of these stores between the hours of 5:00PM and 7:00PM, HMP receives a portion of the sales. This year, Ten Thousand Villages is also giving out 20 pre-shop passes for supporters who cannot make it that evening. You can come in up to 5 days in advance and your purchase will still count.

Karen will be in the Alexandria store and Bill will be in the Fredericksburg store that evening to meet HMP supporters, answer questions, and share updates.

Every donation to the Haiti Micah Project goes directly to help children and young people in the comunnity of Mirebalais. And your donation is manifold. When you visit the feeding program there are children lined up down the block to get a filling, hot meal.

Did you know that some of those children bring bowls and containers to take their meal back to their families? Like the loaves and fishes that miraculously multiplied, the faith and generosity of the children in Mirebalais is astounding. So much, from so little.

Day after day, from meals, to school, to books and supplies, clean water, beds to sleep in, and a roof to keep the rain and wind out, your own generosity enriches and sustains life.
